WHAT IS IT LIKE TO LIVE IN LARVOTTO?
The buildings in the area are very popular for their beautiful, uninterrupted sea views. Closely ranked one of the most exclusive areas of Monaco behind its neighboring district le the Carré d’Or, most of the residential buildings are rental units only.
You can find a large selection of high-end restaurants with diverse cuisines such as the highly marked Chinese restaurant ‘Song Qi’, or the Thai fusion restaurant named ‘Maya Bay’. Larvotto beach is also homebase to the most exciting party and concert scene in Monaco: the ‘Sporting de Monaco’ is a spacious amphitheater that hosts well known musicians during the summer months, and the Grimaldi forum which hosts exhibitions throughout the year.
In 2021, the pedestrian coastal area had a makeover and made space to numerous of restauration establishments as well as two highly rated fitness centers called ‘The 39’ and ‘Fit Factory’, this area is well suited for married or single individuals as well as families with an active lifestyle.
‘Mareterra’, also known as the Anse du Portier project, is an extension onto the sea by the Larvotto beach, located in one of the most expensive areas in Monaco. The development is led by award winning architects, namely the two architecture firms Valode and Piste. The development is in full swing and will be delivered early 2025, featuring 110 apartments in two residential buildings ’The Renzo and ‘ Les Jardin d’Eau’, 10 individual villas and numerous of pedestrian paths, and a harbour. The complex is believed to have cost €2.4 billion euros.
