Monaco-Ville, or the Old Town “Le Rocher”, is where the Prince’s Palace is located, and parts feel like a wonderful open-air museum. The residence of the Royal family of Monaco has been standing on the cliff since the 13th century, continuously enjoying panoramic views onto the Port of Hercules and the surrounding ocean.

Monaco Ville also known as the historic Monaco, including the Prince’s Palace, the courthouse and the Oceanographic museum. The area has a mediaeval charm to it, with narrow roads, quaint architecture and a quiet village atmosphere to it. High-rise development is not permitted in Monaco Ville, and properties tend to be old buildings or villas.
